The EULAR Health Professionals in Rheumatology (HPRs) aim to focus on high quality research, clinical practice and the development of HPRs to improve outcomes for people with RMDs and improve the quality of care they receive. The committee of HPRs is also actively involved in liaising with HPRs across Europe to support the development of roles and encourage successful clinical networking.
If you are interested in contributing, you are welcome to submit an abstract.
The electronic abstract submission system will be open from 1 October 2017 until 31 January 2018. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Health professionals can choose to submit their abstracts either for practice and clinical care (HPR topics A1-A5) or for clinical research work (topics 11-34). Please note that when submitting to topics 11-34, your work will be scored by rheumatologists, whereas the HPR topics A1-A5 are scored by health professionals.
Since 2012, EULAR grants three awards for submitted abstracts by health professionals as first authors.
In addition, EULAR awards a number of travel bursaries to the first/presenting author of a health professionals abstract who has been accepted for oral or poster presentation. Please apply for a travel bursary as soon as you have submitted your abstract - however note that this is a separate process and requires a separate application!
